Tracking expenses without the busywork

The main problem with manual expense tracking is fatigue. Opening an app after work, picking a category, trying to remember what you bought at the supermarket — nobody enjoys it. Within two weeks, most users quit.

The receipt scanner removes that friction entirely. Snap a photo at the checkout or at home, and within 3 seconds every item, price, and category is already in your budget.

How it works

1. Snap the receipt. Open the app, tap "Scan", photograph the receipt. Both paper and digital receipts work (a screenshot is fine too).

2. AI extracts everything. In seconds the AI pulls the shop name, date, every line item with price, and the total. Belarusian retail chains are supported: Евроопт, Соседи, Гиппо, Корона, Алми, Бруснічка, Виталюр, ProStore, and others.

3. Categories are assigned automatically. Milk → "Groceries". Shampoo → "Household". Medicines → "Health". If the AI isn't sure, it asks you, and next time it remembers your choice.

4. You get useful nudges. "This coffee is 30% more expensive than at Соседи", "You spent 240 BYN on snacks this month — maybe bulk is cheaper?", "The discount on these yogurts ends tomorrow". The AI surfaces patterns you don't notice on your own.

What you should know about privacy

Which receipts are recognized?

All major Belarusian retail formats: Евроопт, Соседи, Гиппо, Корона, Алми, Виталюр, Бруснічка, ProStore, Доброном. Also marketplaces (21vek, Wildberries, Ozon in their Belarus localization), pharmacies, restaurants, and most petrol stations.

What if my shop isn't on the list?

It will probably still work. The AI is trained on a wide range of formats and handles most receipts. If something goes wrong, you can correct it manually and the AI will incorporate your edits next time.

What if the receipt is crumpled / faded / partially visible?

Shoot in good light and flatten the receipt. If part is unreadable, the AI will recover the rest and you can fill in the gaps manually. Digital receipts (PDF, screenshot) are recognized almost perfectly.

How long are the images stored?

Receipt photos themselves aren't stored. The AI extracts the data from the image and immediately deletes it. Only structured information stays in the system: shop, date, items, prices, categories.

Can I scan someone else's receipt?

From the service's perspective, yes — any receipt. It's your choice what goes into your budget. For shared expenses, scanning a group restaurant bill is sometimes handy.

Do the receipts work for tax refunds?

The receipt scanner is a personal tracking tool, not accounting software. If you need receipts for a tax deduction, keep the originals or digital versions separately.

Are English / Polish / Lithuanian receipts recognized?

Yes. If you bring back a receipt from a trip, the AI handles receipts in major European languages with automatic currency conversion to BYN.
